Absolutely, Ive used it since 2017. Only this year have I been delving into the vfx that have made me want to buy it, the free effects are nice enough by themselves for most people for a long time. And its only 1 or 2 things I wish I had from the studio version at that

I actually have wanted to buy it, I've run into a couple of features as i learn VFX that id like to use, BUT the free version is absolutely workable. Been my editor for a very long time
