Yes, you're right - there can sometimes be a delay in the processing of a P45. Where I've worked, it tends to be generated with the final payslip.
I'm quite strict on some things, particularly if it's the other persons laziness... but to me this seriously wouldn't be an issue.

I honestly couldn't stand her.
She saw the level of attention that Nikki got the previous year and tried to replicate it.
