This article is every chronically-ill patient's nightmare. These two bits made me want to throw something at the wall - can't imagine how they must make people who actually knew the guy feel.

But she said patients were not informed of their right to an emergency supply because of fears they might misuse the system. Instead of admitting he could not access the system, the pharmacist repeatedly told my mum and brother that nothing had come through from NHS 111. He also failed to inform them that the pharmacy did not even have the medication Charlie needed in stock for at least 90 minutes.
