Demanding to be informed exactly how Robin Hood could be alive from the 1200s to whenever the most recent setting he's featured in is.

Once I had to stage a breakup in order to get the dole, it's ridiculous.

I think it would be actually incredibly easy to put the genie back in the bottle. Or to have not created the genie in the first place.
It's almost like technological developments are designed and controlled, and not exterior forces we have no control over.
So frustrating.

Cat schemes. Also inscrutable to humans.

To be fair to cats, humans can't understand the difference between a food bowl, and the same food bowl only it's been picked up and put straight down again in the same place. They tolerate a lot from us.

I've long accepted the kind of isolated end of life scenario I'm bound for at this point, and will just try to meet it with whatever dignity I can muster. I've not been very successful generally so it compounds a fair bit. I have made peace with this and enjoy that which I am afforded, though.

Yep.
I don't have a family and it is because I could not afford it, and am now too old and still cannot afford it.

Not because I'm too interested in videogames or whatever.

Also when people decide not to have families this has to be understood on some consumerist/trad failing matrix, and not because it's too expensive to countenance for many.

I don't think any of us would particularly care about those secret tricks if we didn't need to constantly advocate that our skills *have value at all* to people who would most definitely see a well-integrated technique as "cheating".
The irony of this all is overwhelming.
