The British Social Attitudes survey frequently shows a majority in favour of raise taxes and spending, and only ever a tiny minority in favour of cutting taxes and spending.

This is for 2024 election, I’d imagine Labour would be placed further right economically now, and more authoritarian.

Lib Dem’s I don’t think have shifted significantly since then.

A massive tree opposite has fallen in the storm. It seems a family were walking past when it happened, and the dad has been badly injured (it’s believed he has been taken away in an ambulance now).

Fire, police and ambulance all quick to respond (luckily the fire station is just round the corner).
