I obtained leaked messages showing Caylan Ford making controversial statements about race, immigration and white supremacist terrorism

Caylan Ford resigned and Jason Kenney publicly condemned her comments

I think content creators and "news influencers" can play a valuable role in our democratic discourse, but they need to hold themselves to basic standards of integrity

For example, not actively working for a political party or fetching coffees for the Conservative Party's Director of Communications

This luxury condo building’s other spokesperson is former CTV News anchor Michael O’Byrne

Which is a bit odd because (a) since when did condo buildings have local celebrity spokespersons? (b) he does not actually appear to personally live at the condo building himself?

One of my favourite things about this feud is how one of the architects of the campaign to rename downtown Ottawa “SoPa” is one of the spokespeople for this annoying luxury condo building

Mark Sutcliffe announcing the 3rd round draft pick for the LA Dodgers-linked Ottawa Charge women’s hockey team in June 2025:
October 25, 2025 at 4:36 PM
Actually, now that you mention it, Sutcliffe *does* include the Blackjacks basketball team’s logo

Like the Charge, the Blackjacks were owned by their league for the first several seasons and is now owned by another company – not OSEG

Makes the Charge snub weirder
