Order of battle for the Kawaguchi detachment during the battle of Guadalcanal. The detachment would take part in the battles of Edson's Ridge from Sep 12-14 and Henderson Field from Oct 23-26, 1942. On 10 Feb 1944 the detachment would be reactivated and stationed at the Andaman Islands #ORBATboys

For some reason I decided that in order to work out the 2090s distribution of divisions, I should make a current day equivalent (yes I know the image compression on bsky will be awful and these will be almost completely unreadable) #orbatboys

Ukraine has, once again, shot down another record number of ruzzian drones this week. At this point, it isn't the sheer number of drones that ruzzia is launching which should be the headline - it should be the fact that Ukraine seems to be keeping up with their air defense capabilities.
