Dombrowski is saying “Kepler will be playing LF for them at this time.” “He’s actually been swinging better vs right-handed pitching, but he’s apart of our roster at this time.” … is this just a lie or is there truth to this?

I just don’t think they have enough juice offensively but the staff can alleviate that. It has to be a good deadline bc you got Duran but I can’t spin the Bader move much bc this was all avoidable if the made the right moves prior to the start of the year or even dating back farther

This slightly feels awful. I won’t say a disaster bc you got Duran. But the offense is still super meh with righties bats still having awful approaches and no true pop from the right side. I guess it’s just trust Harper and Schwarber get hot bc this lineup is just whatever to me at this point

Just wondering how you’d rank the trio of Miller, Escobar, and Tait in terms of you not wanting to trade them? I guess #1 being you would really would not like dealing that player.

He’s been the one player that has stuck out in the FCL. Is there any hitting data that suggests he may be a top 30 prospect in the Phillies system now/eventually?

Random but 2 questions. Would Oubre decline his option bc the Sixers might have a longer term deal mapped out? Also how realistic would it be for the Sixers to put Oubre and Drum salaries together in trade?

Tre. But my real hope is that some of these Harper reports are true and we use the clippers 28’ unprotected to get to #2. Very high on Harper. Franchise altering player you can have your offense ran thru

Any fun trade ideas for the deadline? Can Dave go the platoon route with undervalued or struggling players that typically have a decent to good slash line and underlying metrics? Maybe McMahon or along that caliber of player that might be a buy-low? Sorry loaded question

I have so many questions for the Phillies organization but the main one would be why they undeniably punted/took a gap year on this season when they have an aging core? Was it bc they got money shy after the big contracts especially Trea have been awful? Why did they bail on Hoffman so quickly?
