I can completely understand wanting to have a series with a proper ending in western comics.
But I also get the feeling only Hickman knew the series was actually ending, so it feels like a rug pull on other creatives that have been working hard in these passion projects of theirs.

A month ago, I was practicing coloring pages of Silk (who else) with what I've learned from some professional work. I ended up just doing two before life got in the way though...

Revisited an old Silk drawing by Luca Maresca, and colored it again. Now with a much better understanding of what I'm doing! :p

Discovered the book "How to Create Comics the Marvel Way" by Mark Waid... And it sorta does not exist?
There are blog posts on Marvel's website about its release in 2022. There's even an ISBN but almost all listings will say it's coming out only in December 30 2045!
Just what is going on??

Remember when Marvel's Avengers was the "biggest" Marvel game we had at the start of this decade, what an odd turn of events where nowadays it's not even brought up.

Oof, haven't watched this yet, but I've been waiting for it for _years_ since announced.
I love Simon's artwork and the feelings they evoke, as well as the novel. So it's very disappointing that they took many years to come up with something that completely misses the point, and costs $320 million.

I started 2025 watching the Superman and Lois finale with my best friend.
And I gotta say: it's one of the best shows finales I have ever seen in my life. I wish everybody had the opportunity to witness the whole series and its finale.

I really wanted to play this game :(
Splash Damage was really cool for doing 4-day work weeks. But now that they couldn't complete the game and multiple people are getting laid off, it won't look good for that system.
I really hoped they'd manage to rework the game into single player :(

Playing online shooters with teams is fun, until you have _that_ one match where everyone is hostile, and you can't seem to pick yourself up from performing poorly at seemingly random.
The urge to join the shouting contest in chat is strong at those times too...
