Whatever credibility science and scientific institutions have left is further eroding with pieces like this. "'Political advocacy is no longer anathema to scientific research, but should be embraced as a central aspect of science’s social mission.' This is even more true here at the end of 2024."

This figure explains so much about our species. Among Hadza hunter-gatherers, there is an enormous gendered division of landscape use, and this pattern isn't shared by savanna-adapted olive baboons.
