It strikes me that the only time when humanity at large will act on climate change, is when the climate breaks down. But at that point, it will be too late. We will continue driving into the wall until we hit the wall and then the car will be broken.

Maybe the point is that, he’s talking to the EU on adult terms again, and doing deals- anything. Just normalising. And the reaction from the right wing press shows why tiny steps is important. Bigger deals can come later.

Were doomed to watch Starmer trying to beat Reform by trying to become ever more like Reform. Can someone teach the man politics please. Political parties are different, they appeal to different people for different things, and thats a good thing. Not everyone wants to vote Reform.
