You notice once players get in a few England squads then they get a level of immunity. Rogers was a great example of this at Elland Road.

Players like that always fascinate me. Do they get complacent with the "easy" chances? Do they overthink them rather than just smash it (incredibly hard and accurately)? Bit of a mystery to me as a fan who is terrible at playing the game.

Someone needs to ask them what they make of Matthew 25 (welcoming the stranger) and Luke 10 (good samaritan) and ask them how that squares with protesting asylum seekers.

Couldn't agree more! Our tree and decorations went up on 22nd November a few years ago. I was sad and it made me happy. If other people like doing there's in October or 24th December (or not at all obv) then let people be.

Sad thing is that the Aussies weren't even that good. The team that I saw flatten NZ at Anfield ~8 years ago would wipe the floor with the current Aussie team.
