I watch way too many sports, I like history, planes and Bruce Springsteen and I have a love/hate relationship with Tottenham Hotspur.
Anyone else at the point where they’d be happy for the club to sell 20/25 1st team players, get a whole new manager + staff and completely start over? Not to mention recruitment, medical, front office staff.

I know this is unrealistic but with wholesale changes needed. It can’t get worse, can it?

What metric have you used? Vibes? You have someone who can’t buy a playoff win 3 spots ahead of a SB MVP

I agreed, Grealish helping HG (presumably loans count towards that) is a bonus. I’d take one of them and be tempted to go for El Khannouss. Affordable release clause, young and position flexibility.

Any thoughts on who you’d like to see us target to replace him? We already needed 1, definitely think we need 2 now

El Khannouss and Gallagher? The former can rotate between backup 10 and winger and the later can play deep once they’re back.

Such a shame he didn’t start last night

I’m very aware. If you read into how it was used on The Brutalist for example, they didn’t simply get AI to do the job for them.

Would have been nice to have found a way to get Kinsky in there, but bodes well for Vicario’s return. Ange was only allowed to make 3 changes right? I’d assume Kinsky would have made it if he could make more.

AI is integrated into all editing software, is every movie now going to be disqualified? Where or how do you draw the line?

Our remaining fit senior players don’t seem to be taking much responsibility at all. I understand that they must be absolutely exhausted but it’s not great that the players fighting the hardest for the team are the 18 year old recent signings.

We’ve seen windows with similar outcomes to this over and over again. Levy is the only constant. He is to blame.

@madidoe.bsky.social yeah.. looks really like a vampire… 🙄

@madidoe.bsky.social another daily puzzle for you?

Which referees would you consider good? I can’t remember the last time the PL had adequate officiating. That includes pre VAR

That could also be true, Ange is not faultless in this. But really, the club should never allow the manager to be in a position like this. Everyone could see before the season that the squad was too small and not good enough.

They’re all terrible and will not improve any time soon. What else is there to be said?
January 28, 2025 at 10:04 AM
Give him enough players to field a team and he will. Ridiculous chairman.

I've been listening to @theresthistory.bsky.social's recent series 'Hitler's War on Poland'. It's essential listening to understand the barbarism of the Nazis.

Fact of the matter is, if we had no injuries we’d be significantly higher. If we had a squad big enough to manage the injury crisis we’d be significantly higher. Ange is not faultless yes, but ultimately whose responsibility is the squad? Levy
January 26, 2025 at 7:04 PM
Wholeheartedly agree.

If he sacks Ange it’ll just be the same cycle we’ve been on for years.

Also, I don’t want Levy to think he’s off the hook, yet again, by simply sacking another manager.
January 26, 2025 at 6:55 PM
So you sack Ange, what’s the next move? Levy hasn’t wanted to spend this month he’s hardly likely to buy a decent manager away from their club. Mason to the end? Doesn’t fill me with optimism.
