The UK's problem with helping autistic adults into work
Awareness of autism in the United Kingdom has grown. In the instance of autistic adults and work, inequality has not lessened as a result of it thus far. Here's why.

The only epidemic I see with autism is the lack of support that is available for autistic adults.

How the media's perception of autism changed
In an increasingly polarised political climate many previous apolitical portions of society are now 'fair game', including autism. How did this begin, and how did we get put here?

Been to an event at Waterstones tonight, discussing @samwetherell.bsky.social ‘s post-war history of Liverpool, including the denigration of the people and the city after Hillsborough. Came home to see this in the news - same as it ever was.

I’ve been consistently surprised that Canada’s Commonwealth status hasn’t been put to UK govt ministers more. The King (about whom Trump claims “great respect”) is head of state of Canada. Trump is saying he should be head of state of Canada. Is the UK govt neutral on that?
Canadian PM Justin Trudeau:

"Today, the United States launched a trade war against Canada - their closest partner and ally, their closest friend. At the same time, they're talking about working positively with Russia, appeasing Vladimir Putin - a lying murderous dictator. Make that makes sense."

The fact that the BBC cut from Pep Guardiola's interview to Richie Wellens' tells you something about the downfall of Manchester City.
