The Costco by me finally had beyond burgers again, so it’s burgers for lunch today. Hopefully they don’t disappear for six months again like the last time they had them

I’m flying out of the Austin, TX airport and keep seeing ads for a Texit coin. The bitcoin bros strike again

I'm about a decade late to the party... but I've finally gotten around to containerizing the WP sites that I maintain

It’s kind of weird how dragging a file into teams is a different action than attaching a file via actions button

One of the most annoying (but harmless) things I’m finding with terraform in AWS is that there are a number of required parameters which are something_id, but they actually want the ARN

Finally got around to getting a new desktop running (Fedora with XFCE) in Hyper-V. Getting XRDP up and going was pretty painless, while `pipewire-module-xrdp` needed to built from source but after installing and rebooting a few times I have a fully functional (virtual) desktop.

Factorio is dangerous, sat down at 8:30 to play for a bit, looked up and suddenly it’s past 10

Finally bought a new can opener after using the same one for nearly a decade. It’s so nice to not have the can pop out while opening anymore

We have a winter weather advisory starting tomorrow night and I just watched a thunderstorm drop pea-sized hail on my yard. Is it summer or winter?

As annoying as it can be to need to clear your driveway, it can be very zen to push the snowblower up and down the driveway

How CAA records interact with CNAME records always seems so unintuitive to me. Once you think it through it makes sense, but at first glance I always end up thinking trust should go in the opposite direction

Apparently telling me wife to go "pickle everyone" when she goes to play pickleball is "annoying"

Walked up stairs to get some coffee, looked at my (who loves to hang out in that chair) and now my back hurts just looking at him

Put on the "energy" playlist on Apple Music and boy did I have an eclectic playlist for my drive: Linkin Park, Shaq (I didn't know he did music), Sia (??), and of course Sandstorm by Darude. It was both awesome and a little surprising

That face when he sees me having a snack at my desk (yes he got some of my cheese)

Had some cheese curds as a snack. I don't think I've ever seen my dog stare at me so longingly

When we first deployed an AI code review tool into our git repo I thought it was kind of a gimmick, but I'm slowly being converted

It's amazing how much heavier the 50 pound bags of salt from Costco feel versus the 40 pound bags from Home Depot - especially when you have to carry them to the basement

2 hours of changing NuGet versions and tweaking binding redirects was not how I expected to spend my morning

Some folks at Atlassian are not having a very good day, Bitbucket Cloud is "Hard Down", which is making me a little nervous #PleaseDontLoseAllOurData

It's -13 (with a -17F windchill), so of course my dog decides it's a great day to make me chase him around before he'll come inside

Finally figured out why my automated SMS were no longer being sent. Twilio is forcing everything through A2P10DLC (unless you shell out for a short code). I need to come up with a more economical way to send me and my wife SMS notifications #SpammersRuinEverything

After being super enthused with Bedrock and the converse API, the new car smell is gone and I'm pondering just reverting back to OpenAI. The experience using the Converse API is great, the rest not so much
