Only billionaires can afford to buy a football club and I believe there’s no such thing as a good billionaire at all, but there is a range of how bad they are. In that sense what we have now is maybe the best we can hope for ethically.

Nah Sarr is still only 22 (2 years younger than Spence!) and has loads of room to grow. Been a bit up and down this season but he has a lot of upside

Pretty common in today’s football discourse to judge individual players by team trophies, which makes no sense. By this logic Danny Welbeck is a better player than Harry Kane

Think it depends on the opposition. Each of the midfielders offers something different. I think we would see less variation if there was a player in there who was capable of playing as the single pivot - none of them really have that ability

Really promising. Caught the QPR game that was on Sky the other day and he got a lovely assist beating his man and then crossing low from the right. Looks noticeably strong for his age too

The busiest months of the season as well. Even having all these injuries at a different time, maybe earlier in the season, would have been less punishing

The fact that people are saying they’re bored of talking about it shows how long it’s been going on as well. It’s not like all these players have just been out for a few weeks. It’s been months.
