... and even GamesRadar sneaks out a review or news piece on a lesser-known indie occasionally. Also, pro tip for indie devs who want more exposure: MAKE YOURSELF ACCESSIBLE! Put a contact e mail address on your website. Offer image downloads (jpg ideally, NEVER webp). Make your game easy to cover.

There are many, many journos - including editors - that want to cover indies, but aren't allowed, or at best aren't allowed to the extent they would like. And here's the thing: there *are* journos out there doing their best to highlight lesser-known titles. Thinky Games is great at this...

Yeah, that's the best way to approach things. I've got a huge list of 'must watch that at some point' shows (Mad Men is on there, actually!). Hasn't stopped me from rewatching things like The Good Place and Futurama, mind you...

Had I taken more time over this, I could've had multiple vampires so I could use the much more effective "It's the counts that fought" punchline; but alas, this has a like already, and I dare not risk losing it as I may not get any more. Mustn't lose any #engagement with my #content.
