Sorry, my question was unclear: I meant using NFL pressures as the outcome you’re predicting, training the model, and then translating that pressures prediction into a sack prediction.

Empirical question for both of you: does the problem change much if you predict pressures and impose some average pressure-to-sack conversion rate compared to predicting sacks directly?

This makes it look like the starter is just a placeholder for “25 year old AAA guy” which honestly wouldn’t be unreasonable at this point

What in the conversations you have leads you to include (or not include) a GM on this list? I’m assuming a judgment call in many (non-Kwesi) cases, but curious how you think about this.
