some texture assets were found to be AI generated and the dev team tried to claim they were placeholders that werent replaced by accident/negligence. other people with dev experience called bullshit though so it was maybe pure laziness which tarnished its rep because who knows what else is AI then

the early-game difficulty scaling is horrendous, once you get past the boss in greymoor the next few bosses feel much more balanced. just dont ever go to a optional boss at the far right of the fire-ant area or you'll break your controller
