But different mediums like games and movies, and different styles of novels had me thinking more of storytelling than stories themselves. The idea of stories as circles, spirals, broken fragments or surreal dreams. You got me thinking on that on some of your posts regarding comics as well!

On a separate note, the shape and construction of stories is a subject that has fascinated me since highschool. I remember before then, the most impressive thing in the world was worldbuilding. Just how much detail and backstory you could create and make sense of.

In my experience, expectations are a bit of a bitch to deal with. Getting something different than what I expected can be a wonderful thing, but it has also twisted the way I experienced some stories. To the point I've felt guilty for not getting the experience the writter might've intended.
