As far as I'm concerned, both back then and now, this was Sonic's actual 25th anniversary title. Forces was just some weird, shitty budget title that most were very quick to write off correctly. The weakest thing, more of a nitpick if anything, is of course the ratio of old to new stages-

The most damning thing about these is I think I like Aigis a little less after watching the movies, and the funniest thing is that the answer 2024 director really thought he was onto some shit when making Mitsuru straight given how lifeless Makoto Y and her get here with each other lol

I would heavily advise against watching these first if you're getting into the series, especially if you want to get into 3. If you go from these to the game thinking that Aigis is as big a deal as these make her out to be then oof. Movie 1 and 4 are the only real good ones, the rest do not hold up.
