Free trade is great. That it comes with no strings attached to the rule of law, a proper liberal democracy, and guaranteeing the security of Mexican citizens throughout their territory is disappointing, to say the least

ECJ rulings have nothing to do with any negotiations, the court only interprets the law and that's what they did and what many Brexiteers can't understand. The EU follows its own laws and regulations, it can't and won't bend or circumvent them just to accommodate the UK new wishes and demands
