The average annual cost in Denmark for groceries (per person) is around USD6,600. Greenland's costs, due to its location and limited population, is about 3 times higher even after applying considerable freight subsidies.
So USD100,000 would just cover 5 years of groceries, excl. healthcare, etc.

It would help if we could get China as a strategic ally. They are much more pragmatic than they are Communists. They have far more economic interests with Europe than they have with Russia. And they too oppose Trump.

We've gotten accustomed to the freedoms and luxuries we currently enjoy without realising the blood, sweat and tears it took to obtain them in the first place.
We need to stand up, united, to fight back even if that means we need to dump the 2026 World Cup to give a united middle finger to Trump.

Troops need to be re-supplied. And that can only be done by air or sea. European forces currently do not have enough planes or ships for that, not while Putin still threatens our European borders. Putin is weak now, best to focus on him first, perhaps with an inusual ally (China).

I would not call China particularly close to the US. Nor to Russia for that matter. China stands to gain much more by aligning with Europe and collectively getting rid of Putin and his expansionist stance. That would create a formidable bloc vs the USA.
