Can we start over on the whole social network thing?

I would LOVE if someone made a social network that wasn't algorithm-driven and showed me what my friends liked, even if it wasn't relevant to me.

Did some community outreach to let the local community know about the mental health services offered at my department’s in-house clinic.

We also made Feelings Jenga ~ kids loved it!!

Each block had a question or prompt about naming emotions, coping, personal strengths, empathy, family, and more.

To help people understand the importance of NIH, share what you’ve used their funding for (in easily understandable terms).

I’ll start: my NIH postdoc funding helped me develop and test AI tools that could identify skin cancer across diverse skin tones.

No doubt it’s a difficult time to be a researcher. An ever tougher time to be a diversity sciences researcher. sigh ~

Fingers crossed that the Minority Fellowship Program I just applied to survives this mess. It’s my dream fellowship 🥲
