The book trope of a protagonist reading through the night is like a siren's song lulling me into just 'one more chapter' and then it's five in the morning and I've read the entire book with that as an affirmation to keep on going. Anyways, I hope those authors sleep better than I do ❤️

When all scrolling started to feel like doom scrolling I took refuge in books again and they really might be on to something with the whole 'screens are bad for you' thing. My mind is now in a fairy land and I've felt emotions that are not some form of eternal dread for the first time in months 🧚🏻‍♀️

Frigg - being the wonderfully strange creature that she is - found a new dark and mostly unloved corner to try out for her human guarding purposes. She couldn't stay long, but I at least managed to catch this one look from her.

Definitely my favourite Christmas tree I've had in my adult life. Frigg also loves it, but has expressed grievances that these toys should definitely be accessible to such a good kitty. Merry Christmas, everyone ❤️
