Is he telekinetic or am I just not done animating? Whichever it may be, slowly characters are filling out the world. I look forward to people getting their hands on the game and meeting a wide variety of people and animals they can talk to. #IndieDev #SoloDev #Godot #RPG

HELLO! I've got battles working, kinda! That being said I did end up breaking it somehow when adding features, so I've got some debugging to do. It's close to being where I wanted it but this has been a huge undertaking with lots of moving parts. We are getting there! #IndieDev #soloDev #Godot #RPG

Oops you can also mess up and apply the math wrong making your friends shoot off into the unknown. Might keep it for a VFX later because it was kinda cool. Programming is hard sometimes.

New milestone! We've got friends that can follow you around! This one took a couple days to get working right. Initially I was generating a path, which I thought was cool but it was causing a lot of issues later. Further breakdown to come! #SoloDev #IndieDev #Godot #RPG

Hello you fantastic people! I've been programming and got NPCs that now wander around and face you when talking to them! I'll add the player character rotation as well next. But that was a huge milestone for me to make the game feel more alive! Now to make more art #IndieDev #SoloDev #Godot #RPG

Reworking sprites that I made ~2016 to better fit the current style I'm trying to go for. I messed up trying to get a nose and mouth working for the secondary character. I couldn't help but notice he looked like Ernie Hudson, Whoops. #PixelArt #IndieDev #SoloDev #RPG #Godot

Hey there! Smallish update as I've been working on lots of small presentation things. Currently I've got calling animations starting to take shape between all the different scripts. For the dialogue system I fixed the typing sound so it no longer plays for BBCode. #IndieDev #Godot #RPG

Well we've got the ability to ADD enemies not remove them yet. I'm also working on HOW to get the turn order to stay correct. I'm thinking enemies called into the fight will go last, THEN when everyone has had their turn they move into their correct spot in the turn order. #Godot #IndieDev #RPG

Fights are starting to take shape! I have to work on the decision system but we've got the start to something 🤘
I'll add more systems as I go but for now it's got basic 1 hit attacks and multi hit ones. MH are simply multiplying but I'll setup a routine to check for critsPerHit #Godot #IndieDev
