This is the first time I read this author and have to say I really liked this book. It kept my interest alive and I didn't want to put it down. The tension, the sparks...it's been a while since a romance had me so hooked.

If you crave angst and more angst, tortured feelings and much more angst read this.
It's not a light story and you'd want to slap, figuratively, some sense into the hero but then you know angst is not anyone's taste.
Side note: I love children in books and here we have two and not in the epilogue!

This story has angst, torment and a class-difference trope. What I hate about this last trope is when the low-class heroine finds out she has noble origins and so the conflict about the different social status between H and h is resolved with much ado about nothing. This book is not the case. ❤️
