I really enjoyed Brothership. Really solid M&L gameplay and a great soundtrack, though admittedly I didn't *love* most of the cast, but I wouldn't say any of them are particularly bad either.

DR2 often gets lauded as having the best cast. I just think people latched way too hard onto the better members of the cast (which to be fair are among the best of the best the series has to offer) and just memory-holed the remaining 80%

Yeah even as someone who likes megas, I do wish they were exclusive to 3rd stage pokémon, pretty much just to avoid this issue. Yeah we'd lose out on some bangers like Hawlucha, Absol and Scizor, but giving them room for a potential evo would be much better in the long run.
