this is one of my all time favorite ambient albums. it starts out ethereally, with a view of an empty metropolis through the echo of empty airwaves. then a simple percussive beat comes in, which gives direction to the rest of the album. terrific listen, one of my fav

i cant possibly pick a favorite system of a down album, so i choose to pick the last two, which represent their sound at its most developed and complex. this band brings an infectious revolutionary energy with their quirky bangers and legendary harmonies

while we're on the subject of french electronic music, very little makes me cringe more than electro-swing. that said, this is the absolute best electro swing album i have ever heard. it has some really groundbreaking ideas, and is also bangers front to back

this album is like a snapshot of electronic music circa 2010, frozen in time for us to enjoy. the ideas herein would not pass in today's music landscape, but they are executed perfectly in tetra. definitely among the best of the era. all bangers

this musical reimagining of the greek tragedy of orpheus set in an old west gold mining town is one of my all time favorites. it never fails to get me crying by the end. the original album is great too, and the real tragedy is having to pick one

what can be said about this album that hasnt been already? its a fantastic, at times gut-wrenching, genre-defying rap odyssey outlining, among other things, Kendrick's vision of black liberation. even if you dont like rap, you should give this thing a listen

this to me is quintessential butt rock, the best of the best. every track is a banger and the lyrics are genuine and introspective without being angsty. this is what all butt rock aspires to be, with no exaggeration
