But yes, this law applies to everyone outside of China too as long as they're working with a Chinese company, if the company isn't affiliated with China laws, then that law won't apply to workers

I think it's online, you can find it if you type it in, but from my side, the webpages that explain it is in all Chinese, so you might have to use image translator if you find it, if you can't find an English explanation, I can try and translate it in English

Exactly, you doubt, so it's just your speculation for now, and not a fact, so can't really use that until you know it's a factual thing, hoyoverse is a billionaire company, it requires alot, but they that alot would be like pocket change to them, considering the money they make every few months

So it was just voting and it being the official strike at that time was misinformation or maybe someone misworded it and it confused everyone until it was cleared up in 2024 when the official strike begun(then others started striking overtime, which is why natlan stopped having some voices in 5.1?)

Oh I replied because you were talking about ai, so I made the point of him saying the strikes main course is about making the game unionated, and not about ai, and that the whole ai strike thing was unofficial

I mean take some VA's for example, I heard fans were sending death threats to them, doesn't matter how far away you try to stay, they'll get to you unless you just don't interact at all online

Some are good, but it's almost impossible to keep your distance, if I even comment something remotely different from their opinion on any genshin related post, they'll come after me

They hinted at a new game before they made ZZZ, so I assumed it was whispers from the stars they announced about, since you used that game as an argument, if it's not by hoyoverse... Why'd you even use it as an example😭

So unless you can show me evidence of hoyoverse willingly without permission replacing a voice actors voice with ai, then please do, I've only played 4 of their games(HI3, HSR, GI and ZZZ)

Hoyoverse has never replaced their voice actors with ai voices either, they've only done that before but was given permission until the voice actor returned, all of the voice actors who were replaced were replaced by real people

Like that one time hoyoverse made a VA's voice ai, and almost got shit on by China, but the guy had given permission until he returned hence their game was safe

You can't pay a fee for breaking the ai protection rule in china either, those are one of the rules that cannot and must not be broken without permission from the other individual(voice actors) themselves

He mentions hoyoverse having ai protection, not to mention, I need you to explain why a Chinese Company that follows china laws, wouldn't want to sign an ai contract, I'll have you know, if hoyoverse wanted to make it's voice actors voices ai, china will blacklist their game

Well yeah I read that, but it says 2024, and the "strike" has been around before that, which means the strike wasn't official until July 2024? (which I'm sure unofficial striking is considered illegal in some countries?) atleast in south America and some parts in asia
