Just finished this wonderful little book from @maureenjohnsonbooks.com, @jaycooper.bsky.social and @bloomsburyraven.bsky.social. It’s hilarious, dark and brilliantly illustrated! It’s been a rough start to January but this has cheered me up no end!

I’ve loved being involved with the Cheshire Prize for Literature this year and it’s lovely to see the anthology out in the world. We had a brilliant launch event last night with writers sharing some of their work from the anthology.

The good news is, I like snow. The bad news is I have a long train commute to work and I don’t finish teaching until 7pm tonight. Hope the trains can cope!
