i don’t think they could know their numbers are dwindling (their lives are so short that i’m not sure they could witness the decline), but perhaps a part of them knows that there should be more of them, that they emerge from the ground and find the world much emptier than they expected…….

i don’t agree with her israel/palestine post but i think it’s coming from a history of being mercilessly harassed by the same people who are demanding that she do a video about the genocide. maybe the “online left” is taking up too much of her brain but it would be hard for it not to…

if you watch her video on the witch trials of jk rowling, you’ll see that she’s actually pretty opposed to reactionary centrist thinking. she’s generally very insightful about that sort of thing but she has her blind spots.
