Actually, no. McDonald's lawyers made her out to be that way. All she wanted was her hospital bill covered. 8 thousand. That's it. The JURY gave her the millions because of the actions of McDonalds against her. There is a documentary about this.

This is precisely the reason why I despaired that the church I grew up in had lost their way. It BECAME illegal to feed the homeless, and THEY STOPPED DOING SO BECAUSE IT WAS ILLEGAL. Not because the morality changed. So screw that. Do what is right, not because others think it is.
