I watched the series that Morten Harket was on and got really annoyed at the inability of the guest panel to identify one of the most identifiable voices in pop music, DRESSED AS A FLIPPING VIKING. I concluded that it was a put up job and turned off.

The lists were so enticing and frustrating. The Chalet School books had a list of all the titles, including the ones that were out of print!

Definitely not. And neither was Biggles, who I also adored. Dad said the Willard Price paperbacks were annoying because they always had an announcement of the next book in the back, and he had to keep telling children in the library that it hadn't been published yet!

It's awful! Successive governments have decided on a policy of "managed decline" (I think it's called) rather than trying to stop erosion. This is worrying to me because we're on an ISLAND!
