Really wonderful. Also, a shout-out to my mum: she passed away earlier this year but was the most wonderful and dedicated English teacher and literacy advisor. It was so important to her that we’re putting ‘teacher’ on her memorial stone. She was so loved by colleagues and students.

Mrs Griffiths! Reception teacher. She saw something in me. Gave me my beloved copy of Paddington Abroad. We are still in touch - she has moved back to Cardiff and has invited me to visit her, 32 years after I first met her.
