I think having a critical mass of other birds to make the effect strong is not necessarily zero effort. The effect is only as good as the number of birds you have.

I don’t see why this is that busted? It requires having a critical mass of other birds to really go hard and puts the rest into the graveyard minus one card in hand so you can’t just endlessly cycle your deck. It’s good but requires quite a bit of setup to pop off.
