This is my husband's best friend since high school. I'm so appalled and sad, and I can't bring myself, although I know I should, to tell my husband, because he'd be appalled and sad, too.

But we're the problem.

While we waited for him, his friend helped me with my coat and I said something innocent about zipping it up too, and he said, loud enough that I could hear him but quietly enough that no one else could, "Oh, I'd rather unzip you."

My husband and I went over to his best friend's and his wife's house for dinner last night. They were reminiscing, and she had to be up early so she went to bed, leaving just the three of us. My husband had to use the washroom before we left.

The Canadian dollar is actually up a couple of cents since US Thanksgiving. This time last year it was around $0.69, but is at $0.73 now and rising. But sure, it's the exchange rate.

A reporter asked him about it and he doubled down. No, it was not a mistake. He said what he said and he meant every word.

Yeah, time to plan an exit strategy.

My grandson and I were at tonight's game, and at 3-1 I said to him, "Is it just me, or does everyone seem to have lost interest?" He agreed; it was like nobody was even watching. We had more fun at the Warriors games last year. At least it seemed like they were trying. And tickets were cheaper, too.

The pharmacist administers the vaccines, enters the information into the provincial system on their computer, and your immunization records are available to you within 24 hours. And it's all free of charge.

I got both on Wednesday.

You have to pay for it? In Canada we get a text to let us know there's flu and Covid vaccines available for us with a link to set up an appointment at a pharmacy of our choice.

I think Nicola just did.

He also has a poll about Canada becoming the 51st state. If you can stomach it have a look. Only 10% including me said hell no. Clearly not a Canadian posting this garbage.

The one I saw was about the alcohol boycott. He claims we're begging to have American liquor put back on the shelves because we can't find substitutes. So much BS. /2

They have signs like that all over Lynn Canyon by the suspension bridge and nobody even gives them a glance. People do what they do, no matter the risk.

Yep. Gavin Weston can pay for his own kids' charity, since he's the one who gets the tax breaks.

The statement through his spokesperson says essentially that it was just a joke and “He regrets if the humor was in poor taste and maintains the utmost respect for Lindsay."

If. I hate those non-apologies. If, indeed.

And why doesn't he have the guts to address this himself? Coward.

I've been a Deputy Returning Officer and just unfolding those ballots alone is going to take more time than normal, let alone counting them.

McConnell is from Kentucky. The removal of whiskey from Canadian stores has hit Kentucky hard and he has likely got a lot of flak from producers there. He probably thinks that by voting this way Canada will resume buying from them again. He thinks wrong.

Canada doesn't get "into it" with other countries, although we're quick to support our friends when they're in trouble. We haven't had any enemies until now, and that's not due to any aggression on our part. Unlike you, we have lots of allies throughout the word. Don't underestimate us.

Elbows up.

2/2 Yesterday I had bilateral biopsies for the same. I am a bunnies and rainbows optimist so I am not planning to panic until there's something to panic about. But the coincidence in our ages is a bit disconcerting, nevertheless.

1/2 I am the same age my mom was when she was diagnosed with breast cancer which she ultimately didn't survive. (She also had leukaemia so there wasn't much could be done.)
