Beautiful ape best, character in game. This achievement really speaks to Joel G's talent as a comedy writer. You gotta talk to this mf 100+ times to get this achievement but honestly it was one of my favs to get cuz his dialogue is just really entertaining Human Ena surfin sick style. I like how the artist here depicted her eyes as swirls to mimic how wobbly her vision is in this segment. I think from a visual stand point Human Ena's really cool, with her sickly appearance and huge hole in her midsection. But I fear what it could mean to the lore. If it turns out this is all some sort of afterlife and ENA is dead wouldn't that feel like such a cop out? I've always hated "main character is dead" theories cuz they're so obvious and are usually reductive to the game's themes but I have faith in Joel to be more creative than that.

en achievements part 3
hoarder is ded I like how his ghost has his little eye censor too Apparently Taski Maiden is so incredibly strange that she weirds out even other residents of ena world, even tho pretty much everyone is a freak in some way. I hope taski appears in later chapters and didn't get turned in triangles and "die" like presumably most denizens of the Uncanny valley did. awwwwwwwwwwwww cute lil snakie guyyyyy aaaaaaaawwwwwwwww. This is a surprisingly wholesome achievement for dream bbq. The fact that both heads of the flying creatures of Uncanny land have seperate mind and wills makes me think... what the hell are they??? They obviously look man-made, and produce some sort of radio chatter when you get near them but are they vehicles? some sort of security overwatch? Perhaps they are drones sent from the geni-BATHROOM sent to observe those who want their wish granted? It didnt even really hit me that we're destroying the little guide spirits actual houses in this section until I read the desc of this achievement. This is also my least favorite achievement in chap 1 as basically all you're doing is watching the same 5 or so animations play over and over. (also I had to playthrough the entire game again just to get this one)

ena chievements part 2
Another one that there's not too much to say about, it's the gift shop. Although I must say I found this area strange, not even in a "wow this is so weird!" kinda strange like most places in the game. This area takes quite a bit of doing to actually find and then there's really not much here. Besides an npc who basically just calls you poor and tells you to leave I like how the controls for the crane are just big cartoony arcade sticks. and the alliteration on this achievement is fun to say. "Saleman's Delight" This is probably the most mysterious achievement in the entire game. What could it mean? why is it here? why is there an achievement for finding this one specific mannequin? I LITERALLY have no clue.. Maybe this mannequin is the corpse of someone ENA knew? if we're going with the theory that mannequins are dead bodies. Maybe this mannequin is Animated series ENA? if we're working off the theory that the mannequins are just different bodies that ENA can swap between. literally it's anyone's guess. I can't be the only one who thought the blood lake was just red water at first right? also I like the idea of ENA just sitting there for hours. cris-cross. watching the legs swim. Meanwhile Froggy must be screaming at her "GET TO WORK" lmao

Every ENA: DREAM BBQ Achievement extracted (plus a lil analysis of them in the alt text cuz I'm bored)
A beautifully drawn close-up portrait of the door for chapter 1. A few things I find interesting about this door is that little ruffle around it's neck very closely resembles the kind worn by clowns, which of course are going to have some sort of great significance in Dream BBQ considering that they're plastered all over the game's steam icon and it's various merchandise. Now this might be a stretch but Shape wise, I feel like The lonely's door's head very heavily resembles that of the blank mannequins seen all around both the game and classic animations (though ofc they're much more relevant story wise to dream bbq) Very much the silliest sprite of ENA made for Dream BBQ. This sprite probably means nothing, but personally it makes me think that usually this version of ENA is more friendly than we see in the game. It's only whatever this situation she's in with the Boss that's making her mean side much more prevelant. Chad Nose wiping guy as seen from behind. Not much to say about this one, just a solitary cool guy living in a dimension of freaks A VERY close up, VERY realistic portrait Of ENA Salesman's eye. we get a much better look at ENA's eyelashes here which normally aren't visible in-game. The most interesting part of this achievement is it's description though.. "W-what was that?! Felt too human." This tells us that entirely, yes ENA used to be human and she isn't now. Since she knows what being human felt like and is surprised to feel it again.
