Agreed..never perfect. But how many Americans still think they live in the greatest nation on the planet? Wave the flag and this is what you get..people who think they can do no wrong. American education has failed many.

My theory. American education system...wave the flag, hand over heart...breeds soldiers. A narcissistic society willing to die for the 'greatest' country in the world. Keep the poor poorer and the uneducated, uneducated, and you have an army. Educated people rise up against the system.
