But not all cases have been funded by JKR. Many have been crowdfunded. The tax payer often funds the opposing view e.g. The SC ruling/ Sandie Peggie case. And as I said most tribunals/ cases are not really 'trans' or 'gc', it's about sex discrimination & regulations. Anyone can crowdfund if they

I disagree. I am against harassment and legally, 'gender reassignment' is protected. Compelling others' speech or saying they have to pretend to believe something they don't believe in, are not. I think some people are being misled into what they can expect.

situations don't have the money to bring cases. Whether they succeed or not can depend on the money to pay for a good legal team but is also largely based on the law.

That's rather an inaccurate and biased representation of the type of cases being brought and the motives behind bringing them. The success/failure rate of these cases is also telling.

and they're forced to pick a side. So I will continue to stand firm for the middle ground of liberal values, tolerance, respect, but also reality and moderation. I know that the political divide is possibly different in the US, another cultural difference, but in the UK, most 'Terfs' are like me.

I am really pleased that I was tested in that way because I do fear the rise of extremism on the right and it gave me hope that I would equally stand, physically and steadfastly against that kind of extremism too. Extremism rises when the majority stay quiet for an easy life, until it's too late
