I’m inclined to not put that pressure on Katie yet. She’s ben good so far defensively but doesn’t really offer anything going forward. If she was left footed I would say her + Leah would be a great match. We’ve needed a top LCB for 2 years now and I would have Katie as first choice back up/rotation.

Slightly worried about the future of our midfield. I understand her wanting to start our best 2 midfielders, but at what point does the lack of minutes impact our succession plan. Vic’s deal is up, KCC has one more year I think, and I believe Kim and Mario’s are also up. Too much for 1 window

What do you think is necessary for us to do in January? Both in and out. Personally feel like we need to get it spot on but we’re not exactly known for that

Keeping underperforming players for too long, buying back ups when we should be upgrading, ignoring glaring issues we’ve had for years (LCB, pulling out on the Walsh deal and now we’re playing the ballon d’or runner up ridiculously deep). It doesn’t take a genius to see why we can’t win the league

Aware this doesn’t solve anything right now, but is it time to seriously question the club still just blatantly ignoring our awful recruitment? Squad planning has been appealing for so long now and yet they still aren’t even looking at bringing in new people in that department.

Reid said she has always tried to use both feet as much as possible. I reckon we’re more likely to see Leah and Reid at cb, rather than lotte. Renee has also never played Leah in midfield, but she has tried Codina, Reid and Jenna

I think we can guess the forwards and obviously daph, fox, Steph etc. will be starting but the midfield and rcb are less clear. Have you come to a conclusion on who you think will fill the remaining spots come first game of the season? And do you think Sophie stays with us for a bit now?

Can’t help but think Chelsea have found yet another better player than us in peng😂 the goal conceded from the fk was tragic. Got to pray she improves but German fans are certainly not keen
