I’m Stoat, I thought I'd do a quick little #introduction. I'm a backend dev, astronomy lover, pokemon nerd and nintendo enthusiast, ace attorney fan and fan of lighthearted movies. I also play Guild Wars 2 and enjoy flying with my Griffon.

I was thinking in GW2 maybe doing a walk across all of Tyria. Not like a "run on foot" but the actual walking animation walking the intended paths.
The routing isn't that bad, I have 2 weeks off December and I'm sure it could be a fun project to just sight see all the landscapes we usually ignore.

I figured out how to play Rush E on the piano in GW2! I'm particularly happy with how this turned out, though I'm sure I can go even faster with more practice!

So... Anyone else getting flashbacks to the Wii U? I'm calling it, the switch 2 will not be a big system seller. From the cost of the system to the games, it's all just way too expensive.
And just like the Wii U, it's focusing on social networking and riding on the coattails of a popular console.

Also congrats to Mark Carney for becoming Canada's new liberal leader! Just out of curiosity though, does anyone else think he kind of resembles Mr. Rogers a little bit?

My mesmer Volla has had a bit of a change of style. I don't know if anyone remembers sonic underground, but I remembered the queen character from the intro with the cowl and cloak and I felt inspired.

New Mozilla TOS diff. This is what they just removed:
* Does Firefox sell your personal data?
> Nope. Never have, never will.
The purpose of the new TOS appears to be to enable them to do this - such as for their advertising and AI sidelines.

Today is going to be exciting. I'm picking up my ocarina today! If in the coming days you see a giant bird flying out of the sea towards Canada, I've succeeded in my quest of summoning Lugia.
Im a bit disappointed that Pokemon ZA is late 2025. I was hoping much sooner...
A bigger annoyance to me is that the tera raids are still on starters. Like come on, guys. We're at the end of the generation. Bring in more events like the Mewtwo raids and Rayquaza. Or heck, do a mystical like Deoxys.

As a break from all the bad news, Ive bought myself an ocarina! It'll take a while to arrive, but I'm looking forward to having another instrument to play.
I like my harmonica too, but I thought it would be nice to have something a little lighter in tone. (And no, it's not the Zelda one :P)

I've been playing dragon quest XI for the first time this weekend. I'm just... amazed. You can go in houses? I haven't been able to do that in Pokemon since sw/sh. And it's voice acted!? Amazing.
I'm 7 hours into the demo. I've bought it, but I'm honestly pretty wow'd thus far.
