The new iOS 26 look and feel looks and feels pretty bad. I just installed the update on my phone and it's making me dislike looking at my phone. Good job Apple.

I was a Gemini uber alles kind of guy for coding, and in a way it's still maybe the "smartest" model out there for pure coding knowledge, but tool use is so bad it's essentially useless for AI assisted coding. What use is a great model if it can't make single line edits to a code file?

Fascist intimidation of online platforms is very real. My account just got banned from Reddit because I made a joke under the news that Trump is not doing well saying "get worse soon" which reddit used as an excuse to call it "incitement to violence", clearly ridiculous, but a sign of the times.

I think The Alters is the best game about the struggles of leadership that I've ever experienced. Highly recommended to anyone that leads a team and feels like they are surrounded by assholes. Spoiler: the asshole in this case is literally you!
