There's nothing wrong with audio books, it's a perfectly fair medium for Absorbing information and relaxing. However, it isn't reading... By definition, it's more akin to listening to radio shows.

To be honest, I think the original was a smoother watch for me. The pacing is slower, and it really plays into the barren wild west aesthetic of the series. All action has weight. It's less flashy, more substantial.

If I had to suggest anything cool, and artistic I'd say Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and the original Trigun. A trip down classic lane, and a worthy one at that.
