My son has been teaching me. He is an accomplished home baker. He makes the most beautiful challah, great bagels and other sourdough loaves. He lives in Seattle, so we can’t bake together😕

My weak link seems to be shaping. Tried twisting the dough and I like how it turned out…

It’s like eating an elephant….one bite at a time. I whizzed through the blocks, but the kites and triangles got me wondering if I would ever finish. One day I decided I was closer to finished than I was to beginning it, so I did! So happy I did!
