Ireland is the only country in the world to have a musical instrument as it's national symbol. Many years ago, British occupiers made it illegal to possess a harp and set out to burn every harp in a failed attempt to kill the “Irish spirit.”

I don't get to watch the news any more thanks to dealing with kids post dinner and their bedtime routine (thank fcuk, everyone seems stressed and depressed by the news), but I have started subscribing to this again, and very much enjoying it.
