I like to set goals for myself, stagnation comes for those who don’t. My goal with this book is 500 fully colored designs, all of which are hand drawn and not traced! I think it’s important to be able to build the designs we tattoo from scratch.

Ever since opening Slate Belt Tattoo, it’s been a lot more volume I’ve been used to, which is nothing but a good thing! But I’ve been finding it hard to find time to paint, so last week I challenged myself to paint every free second I had and came out with this beauty!

I can draw on the puter too! Take that modern age! Multi talented, very well liked, puter wizard. I will say not as riveting as drawing on paper, I feel nothing, it’s soulless, digital art doesn’t feed the hole in my soul but I am capable.
