Only Yesterday (1991) is a film about a 27 year old woman reminiscing about her childhood in 1960s Japan. I found it rather slow and hard to connect with. Not my fave. Rating: 5/10

Kiki’s Delivery Service (1989) is the only Ghibli film I remember seeing as a kid. It made me want to fly! It was cute and still held up. The soundtrack is wonderful. Rating: 9/10
