“Trying to find a shortcut to become a better pilot” is an underrated character arc imo, I think I’m liking Asemu more than I liked Flit so far

I’m glad they kept this subplot going, these two are cute, and I can appreciate how eager he is to confess his feelings knowing his life is on the line every time he sorties.

This reveal would’ve been more of a surprise if they didn’t set it up at the top of the episode. The shadowy G-men on the other hand, that was a fun surprise, can’t wait to see where that goes.

I’m immediately a big fan of the Age-2 Double Bullet. Just a huge sucker for big laser and big sword, and double bullet has two of each. Excited to see more of this thing in action.

I think Romary doesn’t feel as necessary in this scene as she ought to because the show failed to establish why she and Asemu and Zeheart were all such good friends by the time they graduated. This is where some flashbacks would come in handy, but it’s just repeated scenes from earlier episodes.

I’m really starting to love the look of the G-Bouncer from Gundam AGE, I like how it’s giving Hyaku Shiki vibes. Maybe I’ll scrounge around for a hg, cross your fingers for me.

We’re really starting to see one of AGE’s key themes of generational trauma start to come into play. I know it’s a pretty commonplace trope now, but I’d argue AGE was ahead of its time in this regard.

With as heavily truncated as Gundam AGE feels sometimes, I’m glad they found the time to set up a little romance between these two background characters whose names I’ve already forgotten. They’re cute, and I like them.
