Background for a community theater project my friend was part of. Hatcherfield High from The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. I’m actually pretty sure they didn’t end up using it which is totally fine cause it was a total rush job lol.
A drawing depicting a school hallway. The main focus is 6 blue school lockers. The first of which (furthest left) just has some post it notes taped on it along with some blood. On the floor in front of it lays a crumpled piece of paper and a used cigarette. The next one is opened reveling a green jacket hanging on the top along with some books and some crumpled paper on the shelf thingy that separates the locker into a top and bottom. There is also a Hamilton poster up partially covered by the jacket, a Black Friday poster, and a worksheet/test hung up with a magnet that is marked with a B+ grade. In the bottom section is a pink backpack and a brown paper bag lunch which is clearly stinky with flies around it. There is also an apple core and a love note hung up. The door of the locker has a mirror, a pencil holder with a pen in it, and various magnets stick on it along with a good amount of blood. Next over has two papers tapped on it along with several sticky notes. The papers are a notice about a new after school musical and basketball try-outs. The lockers also has some green goo on it. The floor in front of those two lockers has a blood spill with some green glop in it. Next locker one has some graffiti that reads “Fuck Clives Dale!”, in front of that locker is two spray cans of paint. Next locker also has graffiti in the form of a peace sign and a random tag plus some blood. In front of it is two used cigarette and some ash, and a crumpled up soda can with is on its side spilling out some soda. The last locker also some posters/papers on it but the text isn’t readable. The whole thing has some green writing and spots/ splatters of green ooze and blood around.

It’s not my best work but here is a rock I painted for my grandma to bring to my great-grandparents grave since she’s visiting them. It’s Jewish custom to put rocks by graves. It has a few sides but I only have a pic of this poodle one (they had a poodle) the other has names & then one w/ flowers.

I made a bracelet today and it’s brought me a lot of joy. It the first piece of candy (or candie?) I’ve made.

Materials used was some red purler beads & black string. Both my friend brought to a hang out. Another friend taught me how. So $0 in materials <3

Added some Dino pizzazz to one of my vests ✨🦖✨🦕✨

(Vest is made from a hand-me-down flannel with the sleeves cut off, pins have been collected for free/gifted, patches are handmade from hand-me-down & ripped denim shorts and fabric paint/markers)

My mom ask me to draw her friend’s office (he’s a psychologist), since he’s no longer using it. It’s finally gonna get to him Thursday (hopefully) after literal months of being just around my apartment. I legally have to say that the muppets have been editorialized & are less horrifying in person.

On top of the window is a small plushie of cat in the hat (not legally considered a muppet). On a cabinet is the purple monster muppet wearing like a royal shirt and sunglasses. A muppet of just a bald man in a Hawaiian shirt and Ernie of Bert & Ernie fame. (Also not legally a muppet). Other things that stand out is the somewhat bizarre colorful art that is on the walls and the mason jars filled with colorful candy in the cabinet. There is also a subway sign for city college-137 st station mounted above the bright red couch. The drawing of the office, printed out, framed in a black frame, and wrapped in bubble wrap for transport. It’s printed out a good bit bigger than a piece of paper

A photo of the inside of a pair of sweatpants showing a mending area. Where the stitches are is a visible line but it’s fairly clean job. You can also see a bit of a dog in the photo as they are sitting on the rest of the pants that were mended. A zoomed in photo of the pocket of the black sweatpants now right side out. If you look closely by the pocket you can see where was mended but it’s not especially visible. A photo of the same pair of sweatpants but with the whole pants in the photo. They are black with white printed on patches with different punk iconography. The small line made from mending is not noticeable at all.

It took M (7 y/o) 2ish weeks to finish the books in his curated library. Nimona was picked 1st and got a like (expected), BFG also was a like (surprised me), and Ranger got a boring (expected). Here are the new picks: Flora & Ulysses, Saving Winslow, and Fish in a Tree. Hope he likes these

He was in a small handbag so I had to grab him out. He was shaking in the cold & curled up to my chest latching onto my shirt with his claws. I wrapped him in a scarf & put him in the carrier. His new mom called us a car. I pet him while we waited. He kept purring & trying to nurse(?)/licking me.

Once baby girl made it home I received photos & was told they named her Didi! This morning they took her to the vet and turns out she is a he (which I did warn might be the case before they got him). He will be neutered once he weighs enough & is at the most loving home. Pic of Didi at home attached

I have a 7 y/o lil brother who is really into reading but constantly complaining he has read everything at home. He loves the library but he can’t always go. Here is my solution: I saved some books from when I was his age & created a library system for them (all at once is overwhelming)

The handwriting is written in sharpie and messy. The middle section is labeled “Dislike” with a thumbs down drawn next to it and has the bullet points “This was too hard”, “upsetting/scary”, & “Don’t like this genre*” written under it. It also had the text “*type of story” written at the very bottom of the label”. Lastly, is a section that is labeled “boring” with a drawing of a thumbs to the side”. A closer photo of the piece of paper taped to the wall labeled “Lou’s Library - Rules:”. Next to the label is a doodle of an open book. Under the label is a list: “1. Look in the Book Bin for three handpicked book selections —> They each have a card on the cover with some topics/descriptions of the book 2. Pick a book to try out —> You must try each book before before getting new books —> While I recommend at least 2 chapters, you only have to read 1 before giving up 3. Once you have read/tried a book put it in the return box —> rate the book by putting it in either 'like’, ‘dislike’, or, ‘boring’ 4. Once all books are in the return bin, you will get 3 more books based on your ratings”

My cherry tomato plant, Zoya, has grown so well. Normally my plants die because apartment living is not conducive to plants, especially vegetable plants, surviving. So I’m so thrilled. Pictured is her when I received her vs. now.

This is Boomer and he’s more than 80 y/o. He got some new patches today and he looks very handsome. He’s very much like a grandfather who in his brief moments of lucidity looks deep into your eyes and begs for you to end him. Here’s to another 80 years! Love ya Boomer!
A very well loved brown stuffed animal is sitting against a white wall. He appears to be a dog. He has some patches sewn on to cover more damaged areas. The patches are red with small yellow stars. He was at some point fuzzy but it has all worn off, except some tiny spots. He had unnerving light blue eyes that are very far apart. This causes him to look somewhat haunted.

Modern COVID-inspired take on Black Death era art. Made awhile ago but I still think it’s cool.
